Picnic/ Dues

Last Call on the picnic.  We have 11 households already signed up to attend and I would love to see more!!!  RSVP by mid-afternoon tomorrow so that I can call in the fried chicken order, please.  The weather is supposed to be PERFECT and sitting in the front yard eating good food with great neighbors sounds like a great way to spend a beautiful evening.  What a relaxing way to end the weekend!

Mary Scott Singer will be at the picnic so feel free to bring your dues $$ then if it is easier than getting it to her by mail or drop-off.  Dues for 2009 are $50.

YES Picnic!

After hearing from a few more folks and listening to the gorgeous weather forecast for Sunday,  I've decided to make the picninc a go.  So, it is the usual drill.  It will be on Tioga from 5-7 on THIS Sunday.  Please bring a dish to share and chairs to sit on.  The cost is $2 per person( over age 2) and includes fried chicken, drinks, and paper products.  If young children are coming, let me know, and I will make hotdogs, too.

Fall Picnic

I am looking at planning a Fall Picnic for the Winter Park Hills neighborhood.  It will be the usual format with a charge of $2 per person which will provide fried chicken, drinks, paper products, and hot dogs available for the kids.  Everyone will need to bring a large dessert or side dish to share.  The picnic will be held at the Tioga cul-de-sac from 5-7 PM.

Here is the latest of the progress of our street lighting project progress.  I have copied an e-mail that Scott Sieck sent to the city and their response.  Marilyn

Lighting Update

Our City of Winter Park contact for the lighting project, Keith Moore, recently advised HOA President Scott Sieck that our lighting project is next in line to be worked.  The project currently underway should be complete in about two months.  At that time, the workers will begin work in Winter Park Hills.  Please note that most (all?) of the sticks that marked tenative pole placement can be removed because the curb has been spray painted with orange paint to mark the locations.  Since the sticks and flags are not very attractive, please feel free to remove them form your area.
