Could you please send out an email to the directory that I am hoping to
get a Ladies BUNKO night going every other month. I will host the first
one on February 21 at 7:00 p.m. Anyone who is interested, can email or
call me.
We need 12 to play, but we can take as many as would like to play!
OK - I have been wanting to do this for sometime! We have been talking about getting a BUNKO group together, so let's do it! Thursday nights sounded good for most people, so I set aside Thursday, February 21 at 7:00 p.m. for BUNKO.
For the first one, just bring yourself and $5 and we will figure out the rest as we go along!
We will need 12 people for the game, but if we get more, that is great! Please call if you would like to attend!
A resident on North Mandan has reported that his house was broken into around 2:30 this afternoon. The neighbor, who wishes to remain anonymous, returned home with his dog to find two white teen aged boys (ages approximately 14-16) in his house. They ran when he came in and he thinks that they did not get anything. Drawers in the home were found open but the boys did not have anything in their hands when they ran. The resident found no obvious signs of forced entry and is unsure whether he had the front door fully shut. He has chosen not to report this incident to the police.
The outdoor siren component of Winter Park’s OUTREACH emergency notification system will be tested at 12 noon on the first Saturday of each month, with the first test scheduled for Saturday, January 5, at 12 noon.
During true emergency situations, the sirens would sound for three minutes. For the purposes of testing the system, the sirens will only sound for one minute and will only be conducted if no real weather threats of tornados are present.
Around dawn on Monday morning, December 10, several different neighbors called WPPD to report sighting a suspicious man. A seemingly disoriented, older man was wandering around on south Mandan. The police arrived, questioned the man, and took him away in handcuffs. We do not have any information about what caused the apparent arrest. This man does NOT fit the description of the suspicious individuals from last week.
I am as far along with the directory as I can be without your help. I still need information on the following houses. They have not replied to fliers that I have left at their doorstep asking for directory information. I am hoping that they would respond to a personal request from a neighbor. I need an e-mail address to make this work. I would also like a phone number, names, and children but those are not necessary. Please reassure them that only registered and known neighbors will have access to their information.
Ladies of ALL AGES! Take a break from the Holiday Hussle and enjoy some cookies and conversation with your neighbors! I will be hosting this fun event at my house on Sunday, December 16 from 1 - 3 p.m. I live at 2406 Tioga Trail. Please bake a dozen cookies to share and be prepared to take cookies home with you! If you can come, please RSVP to 407-696-5988. Hope to see you there! Amy Raub

Please indicate what food item you will bring when you respond. For questions, contact them at 407-699-5437. We hope that many of you can attend as this event is always fun!
WPHills.com is currently undergoing some improvements. A directory is now functioning although it is incomplete. After you log in, a directory tab will appear on the header bar. Click on directory. Then, click on the first letter of the last name of the person whose information you want OR scroll through the pages (currently 1-4) and find their name to click on their name directly. Their directory entry should appear. If your directory entry is incomplete or incorrect, you may click on the edit button and change your information. There are two places to give information.
WP Hills has traditionally lit the luminaries on Christmas Eve. I would like a couple of volunteers to coordinate and effect the lightings this year. I have some supplies left from last year but we will need to order some replenishments.
Many were a big help last year, but I could sure use a volunteer to head up the effort. The kids love to do the lighting, but it is work.
