I received another report about a blower being stolen from a garage. This marks the fourth blower theft reported to WPHills.com Please consider keeping your garage door closed in order to lessen your chance of becoming a future victim. The Fall Picnic will be held on Sunday, November 4, beginning at 4pm in the Tioga cul-de-sac. The cost will be $2 per person and will include fried chicken, drinks, and paper products. Each family is asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share. Lawn chairs should also be brought as well as toys/games for children. I will also need some serving tables.

Verona neighbor, Eric McCall, reports that he has had two leaf blowers stolen from his open garage on two separate dates in the past few weeks. He was home at the time. It is recommended that garages remain closed as much as possible. There was also a report from Tioga of some additional thefts. Additional details on those thefts are not available at this time. Finally, there was a report of vandalism at the Froehlich household with some teens in a red car upending the seating arrangement and accompanying decor during the 6- 8am morning hours.

Tioga neighbor, Mona Crissey, reports that she noticed at least 8 cars that appeared to be egged during the overnight hours. She walks early in the morning and states that all of the cars that she saw with egg on them were parked in the street. Please report anything that seems suspicious to the Winter Park police. Their nonemergency number is 407-644-1313. If everyone is aware of this problem, perhaps we can stop it before further damage occurs.
